Royal Caribbean Adds to Super Large Fleet

Proving that a drunk Italian skipper couldn’t slow down their momentum, and that it’s a good time to be in the cruise business, Royal Caribbean Cruises announced last week that it has contracted with STX France to build a third Oasis-class vessel for delivery in mid-2016. In case you don’t know what “Oasis-class” means, look in the dictionary under ginormous. In October, the cruise line announced it planned another sister ship to the successful Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. Gotta love the names, Oasis, Allure. Let’s play a game to name the next one. I say something along the lines of Paradise.
