Miami: Tax Haven Crackdowns a Concern

As times get tough, governments are starting to look for ways to close tax loopholes.  That’s good for the United States as companies and individuals look for security and stability over net return, but bad for our neighbors in the Caribbean.  Regulatory crackdowns on banking tax havens are weighing heavy on the minds of international bankers, as evidenced at this week’s Latin American Federation of Banks annual assembly in Miami.
