Miami: Sun Life Stadium seeks City Funding

Mammals should be treated at least as well as fish. That’s what the Miami Dolphins believe it seems. If baseball’s Florida Marlins – the fish — can fleece the taxpayer, don’t the football Miami Dolphins – the mammals – deserve as much?

That seems to be the thinking of the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins have offered to sweeten the pot for Miami Beach in a push to secure public financing for renovations of both Sun Life and the city’s aging Convention Center, team and stadium CEO Mike Dee said earlier this week.

If only they would spend as much energy on putting together a playoff contender.
