Miami: Air Force Nixes Miami Air Show In 2012 For Homestead

In a blow to the Miami Beacon Council, the City of Homestead, and even the sister organization of the Paris Air Show, Miami will not be home to an Air Show in 2012 similar to those that take place in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.  Organizers of a commercial air show were confident they could go ahead, but the Air Force says no for 2012.  That doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea, it just means the Air Force couldn’t figure out how to do it without causing them too much pain.  We’ve just got to make it easy for them to understand how they can help us help them help us.  Yes, it’s a tangled web.
