Leave it to Miami chefs to come up with their own way of dealing with the invasive species which are threatening our local wildlife ecosystem. Eat them before they get a chance to eat anything else! Precisely, a gunshot to the head is the state’s recommended method for disposing of invasive Burmese pythons, whose swelling population threatens the Everglades. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission offers no guidance, however, on how to cook the slithery creatures. Left to the imagination of a few local chefs, the python and other invasive species turn out to be quite savory.
